Hello everyone! My name is Ridhi Chitturi and I am an 8th grader at Monroe Township Middle School. I am excited to announce that the Om 5k run and 1k Walk is occurring May 19th, 2024.
This foundation has and continues to create a major impact. The Om Memorial Foundation was established to honor the memory of Om Parikh, a vibrant young boy whose life was tragically cut short by cancer. Om's journey was marked by his incredible strength and his ability to spread joy around. This foundation embodies his pure spirit. Om Parikh was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, but he refused to let the disease define him. Throughout his treatment, he remained committed to his education and sharing his warmth and happiness to everyone. Om was known for his spirit and how he instantly would brighten peoples' days. Teachers in the Monroe Township Middle School to this day gush about what an amazing person he was.
